Our challenge was to leverage an NHL sponsorship to transform the hockey landscape, helping fans be fans no matter where they were in the country.

Driven by the insight that ‘Hockey is the heartbeat of local Canadian communities, but rarely do fans get to experience big-town hockey’, we created “Rogers Hometown Hockey”, a one-of-a-kind hockey fan festival that allowed small-town Canadian communities to be a part of the big game.It toured 25 Canadian cities to celebrate Canada’s favourite pastime and bring communities together.

The Fan Festival includes live entertainment, current and former NHL star visits, several engaging hockey experiences, plus multiple sponsors and F&B. It broadcast live every week on SportsNet Monday Night Hockey pre-game with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone.

We designed, built and executed this Fan Festival for 8 years as well as handled sponsorship sales, bringing over 15 sponsors looking to amplify their NHL Rights and create memorable brand experiences for fans.
