The Challenge
To ignite enthusiasm, cultivate devoted fandom, and foster national pride in the years running up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, we introduced the inaugural QFA fan jersey. Before this initiative, fans were unable to obtain official QFA jerseys to proudly display their allegiance and affection for their Team. Equally groundbreaking was the introduction of the very first female jersey, championing inclusivity within the fan community.
The SOLUTION
Supported by integrated program elements with content, PR, social and influencers. The campaign had the highest engagement of any previous QFA campaign, and the shirt was sold out in the first week. This is the last shirt to be worn by the Qatar National Team before the 2022 World Cup and will be worn when Qatar plays in the 2021 Copa America and Gold Cup.
