The Challenge
Local arenas are often at the heart of small communities yet so many of them are run down and in need of some upgrades but the communities can’t afford to fix them. Enter Kraft Hockeyville, an annual competition sponsored by Kraft Heinz, the NHL and the NHL players association in which communities compete to demonstrate their commitment and love for hockey. The winning community gets a cash prize dedicated to upgrading their local home arena and to host an NHL pre-season game.
