Cox Commuications sponsors NHL, NFL, MLB and NCAA Teams and is in many stadiums across the USA. Our challenge was to engage sports fans in a way that keeps the brand with them long after the game.

Driven by the truth that ‘few fans ever fulfill their dream of meeting their favourite player’ and knowing that getting athletes to meet and greet fans can be challenging during the playing season, we created digital experiences that would provide fans with a chance to virtually interact with their favourite players and teams.

The Cox “Virtual Meet and Greet” is an interactive, eye-catching virtual experience that lives across various stadiums in the USA. Fans are virtually greeted by a player, can choose to take a photo or video with them, and are encouraged to share it on social media
